Created from layered reclaimed cotton cloth this jacket features beautiful vintage patchworked fabrics that give each one a beautiful unique finish. With bias bound hems this jacket can be turned through and worn on the reverse for a completely different look. Featuring two roomy pockets to the front, a collar that can be worn turned down and sleeves that can be turned up to reveal a glimpse of the different patchworked cloth on the reverse side. The technique used to create this jacket is known as Kantha. Traditionally old sari cloths are overlayed then hand stitched together with a beautiful, intricate running stitch to create a single layer of cloth that can then be transformed into a new garment. It is this creative technique that gives this jacket its authentic charming character. With a soft relaxed feel and easy fit this jacket is very comfortable to wear and ideal for layering up when you need extra warmth.
